Official photographer of the Miss Georgia pageant, my dear husband Matt Boyd, speaks to a packed house on March 6th in Columbus at Columbus State University! Miss Georgia board members, miss contestants, outstanding teen contestants, franchise members and parents from every part of Georgia were in attendance for the weekend filled with educational seminars, announcements and fun to kick off the new pageant season. It was such a priviledge to again be invited to do a pageant preperation seminar for all the contestants participating in Miss Georgia and Miss Georgia's Outstanding Teen pageants. The interactive session covered everything from hair and makeup for interview and stage, interview techniques, paperwork and platform development, public speaking and appearances, wardrobe selection, swimsuit and evening gown poise and modeling. As a former Miss Georgia contestant, I am more than happy to pass along any helpful tips! Good luck to all the talented contestants - you are all beautiful!
